This rug was hand-woven in Northern India before finding its way to your floor. Its made of jute and cotton, which makes the rug very durable.
TECHNIQUE
BUCKWHEAT is a flatweave made on a hand loom. It is a tight flatweave which allows the durrability of the jute and cotton hold up to repeated wear. In this style of flatweave, the jute weft accounts for 80% of the total weight of the rug. Learn more about the craft.

20% Cotton (the warp)
