Job Posting: Studio Coordinator
Location:
5520 rue Chabot, Montreal QC (in-person role)
Employment:
Full-time (4 days per week)
About The Role
We’re looking for a person who's excited to contribute across many facets of the business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a versatile environment, enjoys wearing many hats (figuratively 🤠), and is focused on helping the company grow.
The role is being built as a full-time 4 days a week role with Fridays off. This is a salaried position.
While you'll be involved in decision-making processes at the ground level, this is not a design role; it centers on studio upkeep, sales, logistics, and marketing support. This will be an in-studio position with little room to work from home.
As the company grows, there is strong potential for this position to evolve.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Marketing:
- Conduct outreach and follow-up with trade accounts, interior designers, and retailers.
- Support general marketing initiatives targeting these groups.
Logistics and Shipping:
- Manage incoming shipments from India and organize outgoing shipments to customers.
- Book shipments, prepare and pack orders, coordinate pickups, and track deliveries.
- Follow up with customers by sending invoices and collecting payments.
- Manage inventory.
Bookkeeping and Accounting:
- Invoice customers and log expenses.
- Maintain bookkeeping records using QuickBooks.
What We're Looking For
- A proactive, flexible individual excited to be involved in all aspects of a small, growing business.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and a focus on systems thinking. Keen to help develop and improve internal processes.
- Comfort with an evolving role — ready to handle whatever is needed to keep things running smoothly.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar), shipping software, and online retail platforms (Shopify or similar) is a plus.
- Sales and marketing experience is a plus.
- Experience working in the homeware industry is a plus.
- French speaking skills are an asset but not required.
